N. F. Nellie Nelson has left Lone Star Package Car Company and traveled to Dallas for a conference about his appointment as director of the Amarillo area for the Office of Defense Transportation. ODT will lease Fisk Building space for the area offices with a staff of 10. Nelson has long worked in transportation, including as general freight agent for Lone Star and Tarry Motor Freight.
