Free Fire Prevention Show At Municipal Auditorium

Tonight Amarillo hosts a free Fire Prevention Week program at Municipal Auditorium. John Hall Charged In Burglary Case

John Hall a 19 year old Amarillo youth was charged with burglary in the looting of Humphrey Highland School earlier this week. Hall is jailed as sheriff officers and the district attorney filed the charge. A radio typewriter and dishes were taken and some items were recovered.

Young Mother Modest About Willkie March

Mrs. Faye Fry, a young mother of two and active Willkie worker from St. Louis, wrote her first song The Willkie March after a long stanza of melody. She sent a recording to Willkie headquarters which ordered 500 records funded by Mrs. Fry. The tune opens with the army bugle call of assembly and echoes Indiana roots from the Hoosier state.
