Inventor touts quick build home machine in Lubbock
Tom Wigley of Lubbock says his patent ready machine can produce prefab slabs for a four room house with plumbing and wiring for 4500 dollars. The device forms red clay, cinders, gypsum and other mixes into slabs from one to four feet wide and up to 40 feet long, using a continuous feeder, vibration, and a kiln drying cycle. Wigley asserts materials cost can be reduced by about 40 percent versus traditional poured forms and plans to sell rights or seek manufacturing deals before building the first house.

The tide less Great Lakes, per the lake survey office, are nearing high tide. In the middle of a cycle, the five fresh water bodies are near all time highs and may surpass 1929 records next year. Deeper depths aid lake shippers by increasing river and inlet drafts, while cottage owners lament receding beaches and dwindling bathing areas.
