Lieutenant Arrested For Aerial Stunting
Shreveport La November 24 First Lt Thomas P Leigh Jr 24 of San Antonio was under arrest in the Barksdale Field prison on charges of stunt ing at low altitude over the State Fair Stadium during a high school football game. Air force authorities said his aerial acrobatics almost stopped the game and held about 15000 spectators spellbound. Leigh holds navigator rating and recently received a Student pilot certificate from the Shreveport CAA office but lacks an Army pilot rating. He performed the stunt in a biplane rented at Shreveport Municipal Airport.
