The Alpha Alpha Chapter held a Wednesday night meeting at 8 in Federated Club Rooms Municipal Auditorium featuring “Traditions of Beta Sigma Phi” and poetry readings from Milton Keats Browning and Whitman. Helen Hochevar spoke on traditions while Billie Flesher and Mary Frances Dodderer led the other program segment. Attendees included Catherine and Marguerite Rodgers Allyne Taylor Harriet Morrison Willie Nell Zimmer Marcella Childers Kaye Johnson Kathleen Newsom Melba Hazel Mildred Watkins and the Hochevar Flesher Dodderer. Club Contributes Clothing to Annual Ingathering
The Fl Martes Needle Club hosted eleven members at 312 East Fifteenth to contribute clothing and bedding for the Needlework Guild ingathering. Refreshments followed and Christmas party drawings were held. A called meeting of the Bonita Chapter Order of the Eastern Star is set for Saturday at 7:30 PM in the Masonic Temple for initiation.
