The court upheld Frank Ginadr’s appeal from a $10 fine in Lavaca county, reversing and dismising the charge for failing to state the nature of the offense with sufficient definiteness.
Bennett J. Doty, an American who joined the French foreign legion and was court martialed in Syria for desertion during the Druse rebellion, will be released from the remainder of his enlistment shortly. The release follows American public opinion and was announced by the ministry of war in coordination with the foreign affairs ministry.

Cincinnati November 24 The Remus murder trial resumed with a tense hearing on intimidation as George Klug testified about Eden Park events. Klug, blamed by Remus for provoking the confrontation, gave clipped replies and claimed not recall. the judge halted the defendant’s objection and the jury deliberated the issue.

The court of appeals denied a new trial, Governor Smith could intervene, and prison officials awaited official papers from Albany while both prisoners faced their fate with resignation and distress.
