Four injured in Amarillo area car truck collision
A 1941 passenger coach and a 1.5 ton truck collided at the Oklahoma City Highway and Pullman Switch Road near English Field. Mrs Gladys Irene Shores 20 of Coalgate Okla was critically hurt possibly with a broken neck. Her husband Marine Sgt Clebourne Shores 23 and Darrell Shores 11 months suffered minor injuries. The Amarillo Rendering Co truck driven by William Boyeston 32 North Mirror Amarillo sustained minor injuries and the coach driver was treated for cuts and bruises. The crash left the truck off the road into a plowed field and the coach in a ditch.
