Mrs. Dorothy Johnson of Panhandle deputy grand matron District 2 Section 2 will officiate an inspection of Amarillo Chapter 787 Order of the Eastern Star tomorrow at 8 o'clock in Khiva Temple. All Eastern Star members are invited.
Members of the Stitch and Chat ter club gathered at Mrs. Arnold Cook’s home on 717 North Houston to honor Mrs. C. T. McClenny, formerly Sunita Cook. A lace table displayed a crystal bowl of white chrysanthemums as refreshments were served. attendees included Ida Runyan, Dave Blackburn, Jess Walter, Charles M. Bell, Melvin PittGibbons, Carl Larson, Anna Thompson, O. M. Ogle, Nola Johnston, C. S. McClenny, Jim Langston, Dan Vaughn, O. S. Cormack, Freetman Keeter, Arnold Cook, C. T. McClenny, Dorothy McClenny, and Shirley Vaughn, with gifts sent by Lela Cannon, O. L. Kuykendall, and Charlie White.
El Martes Needle Club is to meet tomorrow afternoon at 2 36 in the home of Mrs. T R Herbert, 1802 Lincoln.
West Amarillo Christian Church Hulen Circle met for lunch and Bible study led by Dr. C W Lipsey pastor. Members planned Thanksgiving and Christmas baskets for needy families and welcomed new members Mrs W C Field Mrs G L Rockenberry and Noble Paulk with several guests attending.
Amarillo Gideons and wives attended a dinner at the R A White farm home east of the city. Out-of-town speakers included state chaplain Joe Evans of El Paso and state secretary treasurer John Ferguson of Dallas. The new state president R L Sanders and Mrs C B Witt recently addressed the group.

The executive board will act as hostesses for Amarillo Study Club's annual Thanksgiving luncheon Friday at noon. The event will be held at the home of Mrs. Jack R. Vincent, 2615 Ong.
