Boys Ranchers Gift Pony to Children at Home
At the Children's Home in Sawuiaay a pony was donated to 32 children and staff led by Supt and Mrs Jake Wilhelm. The gift came early for Christmas as Boys Ranch officials learned of the children's wish for a horse to ride. Bob Vandiver, Bors Fonville, and Slats Fonville assisted.

Earl Mason from the ranch presented a Paint pony to the Boys and Girls at the Children’s Home in Amarillo. The Boys Ranch kids raised and trained the animal, built a corral, and all the children rode the gentle pony before dark.

About 150 women from across the Panhandle will attend two Girl Scout training sessions tomorrow. Miss Janet E. Tobitt of Sussex England and New York City will conduct both 1 30 PM and 7 30 PM meetings at St Andrews Episcopal Parish House 815 Fillmore. Tobitt is a noted author on music folk dances and games and a member of the Girl Guide Association in both the U S and England.

Funeral for Lena Mayhall Held in Wichita Falls Chapel
Mrs. Lena Mayhall a 61 year old of 1311 Johnson died in a Wichita Falls hospital from a heart ailment. Funeral services were at 4 this afternoon at N S Griggs & Sons Chapel with Rev H B Coggin officiating. Burial in Llano. Survivors include husband John A Mayhall a son J P Mayhall of Amarillo and daughter Alberta Mayhail of Amarillo.
