Amarillo High School P T A Music Program Highlights
The Amarillo high school P T A presented a Friday night program in the Junior high auditorium featuring the boys and girls glee clubs under Miss Ventura Smith. The event included the high school orchestra, saxophone and violin duet by Willie Mae Marshall and Virginia Krug, vocal and piano performances by several students, with Mrs Grace Krug as accompanist and Mrs Grover Bishop as program chairman.

Engineer Joe Vinson was injured November 12 when a wheel detached from a Santa Fe freight car under a cinder post, striking him above the eye and bruising him. Local freight business into Amarillo remains strong. many Mennonites and belongings moved via the Santa Fe yesterday toward Chihuahua, Old Mexico. The American Royal Lives event in Arkansas City on November 14–15 is attracting attendees.
