Wheat Insurance Spreads Across Panhandle Farmers

Hundreds of Panhandle farmers insured 1941 wheat crops with government plans. Choctaw Hero Of AEF Says He Is Ready To Fight Again

Joseph Oklahombi 45 a Choctaw Indian and World War I hero who held 171 Germans in a shell hole for three hours plans to fight again if needed. He farms and works at a sawmill in Wright City Oklahoma his son Jonas 21 is in the Civilian Conservation Corps at Idabel. He has a French Croix de Guerre medal on display at the state capitol museum and notes the need to prepare now for Europe.
