Plane collision kills Norfolk lieutenant near club
Lieutenant Addison Nelson died when his Curtiss Hawk collided with a Langley field Martin bomber above the water near the Norfolk Country Club. The bomber crew including G. H. Stewart parachuted to safety. the bomber struck a house roof and chimney before sinking nose first into the water.
