Escaped Nazis Back in Camp Near Fort Stanton
Four escaped German seamen were recaptured near a canyon 14 miles from Huidoso New Mexico after an extended manhunt. One fugitive was wounded resisting arrest by a posse and taken to Fort Stanton detention camp hospital. the others were returned.
