Sayers Kill Wife Then Take Own Life in Fort Worth
Arthur Sayers a 59 year old Houston businessman shot his wife, 29, at the home of Roger Q. Williams in Fort Worth, then killed himself. Williams testified the couple retired while the Sayers were present. shots were heard, Mrs. Sayers died in the bedroom, Sayers died shortly after. Mrs. Sayers had left Houston for a golf tournament in Dallas and wrote a letter Tuesday saying she would not return.
