Chicago May 27 Associated Press reports fugitive witness Robert White is being chased in New York while States Attorney Crowe presses with alleged jury fixing probes. James J. Kelly admitted involvement with White and Arthur Byrne and hinted at a paid affidavit to alter grand jury testimony.

Washington reports Rep. William A Oldfield of Arkansas will succeed Clem Shaver as chairman of the Democratic National Committee with the change expected within weeks. Oldfield plans conferences with New Jersey and Massachusetts leaders for campaigns in upcoming special elections and will begin his tour of western states around August 1 to coordinate 1906 campaign efforts.
Frank Lytle president of Hillcrest Golf Club reports to the board at City Drug Store last night that membership lists show many new subscribers and several applications on the waiting list. With strong support, plans proceed to build the new club home promptly as members push for expedition.
M. J. Koontz and Napoleon Bryant, formerly at a local hotel, are held in Ardmore for local officers charged with stealing a Ford coupe owned by Steve Ratcliff and clothing from hotel employees. Chief Clark Cain offered a $25 reward for the car and recalled it.

Abilene May 27 The trial of Mrs. Frank Collier of Wichita Falls charged with murdering her son in law Buster Robertson at Wichita Falls last February continued in a deadlock as witness Frank Woods, 17, fainted on the stand and has not testified. Court recessed until 1:30 pm.
Labor officials and Kiwanis members hear appeals for supervised playgrounds in Amarillo. W Ohio Scheuler says city’s 50 000 population lacks proper playgrounds and highlights 218 delinquent youths last year that supervision might have prevented. The 137th general assembly of the Presbyterian Church in the United States ends with routine business as it reaffirms ministers must affirm belief in the Virgin Birth. Washington, May 27. Albert B Fall Edward L Doheny and Harry Sinclair were re indicted by a District of Columbia grand jury after previous dismissals on a technicality. The new indictments charge conspiracy in Teapot Dome and Elk Hill oil leases. Edward L Doheny Jr was not included.
