Globe North Amarillo party meeting postponed to June 4
The Globe North Amarillo gathering, originally set for Thursday night, is postponed a week to June 4 due to high school commencement at the auditorium. H H Scheuler outlined supervised recreation plans while North Amarillo club members endorsed the proposal. Bus Line to Open in Amarillo by June First
A twenty one passenger motor bus will be in operation in Amarillo about June 1, city manager Jeff D Bartlett reports from F S Doerfler El Reno Oklahoma who has secured a permit to operate. Doerfler plans to announce route soon and may add more buses after starting if business warrants it. He previously operated a bus at El Reno. Three families including his own will be supported by the line.
