Pioneer Air Lines Charts Vast Expansion in Southwest
Globe reports Pioneer Air Lines filed with the Civil Aeronautics Board a master plan to extend service to nearly every city over 20 000 population in the Southwest. Under Gen Robert J Smith the carrier now serves 22 Texas and New Mexico cities and 1 873 route miles. The plan adds 31 cities across Oklahoma Kansas Arkansas and Louisiana, totaling 3 600 more miles.
