American Cancer Society fund drive here today eyes a possible year with strong results. Last year the drive reached 47 percent of its goal, with $4,549 in hand toward a target of $8,892. Charlie Robertson, Potter County drive chairman, said plans are under way to wrap the drive soon. District chairman Leonard Gunderson reported four counties Hansford Hemphill Ochiltree and Sherman already topped their goals. A Quarter Crusade gathering 100 people to solicit five others has raised $199 and leaders expect late donations will boost the total.
