Relic of true cross claimed found in mission archives
In Hollister California a relic said to be from the true cross was found in San Juan Mission archives. Father Francis Caffrey confirmed its authenticity via a letter dated 1852 from Bishop Johannes Maria Odin to Bishop Thad deaus. The cross is two slivers forming a miniature cross in a silver encased piece with a glass aperture.
Poppy Day Preparations Bring 4000 Flowers Here
