In Pampa on May 19 two veteran Panhandle leaders died. T. D. Hobart 90, JA Ranch executive and West Texas cattleman, succumbed after a four day pneumonia attack. J. T. Crawford 90, Civil War veteran and local insurance official, died at his daughter's home from shock after a period of good health. Hobart’s funeral is set for Tuesday at First Baptist Church.
