Grain men in annual meet predict Panhandle wheat boom

At the Panhandle Grain Dealers Association convention in Amarillo more than 150 grain men from the Southwest attend. Secretary J N Beasley says the Panhandle will soon yield 100 million bushels annually and Amarillo will become a major grain market with about 1 750 000 acres sown and crop prospects rising.
