Bill Mother and Daughter Indicted in Ranch Slaying
Ruth McComas, 31, and her 13-year-old daughter Edith were indicted for murder in the slaying of J A Cunningham, a 68 year old rancher. Pair Blown To Bits In Nitro Truck Blast Near Monahans
Two men aboard a nitroglycerine truck were blown to bits when the vehicle exploded eight miles north of Monahans in Ward County near the O’Brien oil field. Identities were not yet confirmed but W. K. Judy of Tulsa and a man named Scoffield were reported aboard the truck at Wichita Falls and believed killed.
