Miss Glenda Davis led a devotional on To morrow as the Amarillo YWCA hosts the Junior Business Women's Club meeting. Members discussed good personality traits and proper name usage while planning a mother daughter banquet and a June installation banquet with several officers and committees named.
Eunice Class members of the First Baptist Church gathered for a breakfast at the home of Mrs. M. B. Allen on Fairmont. Attendees included Mesdames Noland Bratton Robertson Watkins Weatherall Hickman Chilton McDowell Wright Arthur McGreg or Parker Pattie Ward Sheriff Manning and the hostess.
Members of the First Christian Church Mother Benton Class are to meet for a luncheon on Friday at noon. The gathering will be hosted at the residence of Mrs Jack Husband located at 920 Crockett.
Community events for women and youth at the YWCA and area organizations. Tonight includes business women section and softball, plus a recital at the Musical Arts Conservatory and DAV meeting. Thursday features church circles, luncheons, clubs, sewing circles, and a VFW auxiliary dance night.

Birthday celebrations and cake honor several members. music and cards follow, with a planned June 4 husbands’ picnic at Mrs. George Babb’s home on South Pierce.
Wild Rose Lodge No. 312 Ladies Auxiliary met at IOOF Hall with president Anna Mae Thomas presiding. A May 21 luncheon at 12 o’clock was planned by chair Leta Halley and committee Exie Knight Maude Calvert Dorothy Stevens Elva Clark Bertie Grider, with many members in attendance.
The JYG Club held a dinner and business meeting Tuesday at the YWCA with roses adorning tables. A nominating committee of Wanda Brown, Shirley Williams and Betty Glasgow was formed to select permanent officers.
Mrs. Jack Edwards hosted the Needle Art Club at 1505 Madison on Tuesday afternoon. Members Mrs. W. D. Thornton, Mrs. Homer Tuttle, Mrs. E. D. Hawkins, Mrs. Leslie Stephens attended, with plans for the next meeting May 21 at 2 o’clock hosted by Mrs. E. D. Hadkins at 906 Sunset.
Mrs James Fite and Mrs Gale Seigler entertained guests at a buffet supper and bridge party hosted by Dr and Mrs Seigler at 1810 Taylor. The Spring motif featured in floral arrangements of roses and honeysuckle decorating the entertaining rooms and serving areas.
