Bob Capell Funeral Held
Funeral services for Amarillo real estate developer Bob Capell were held this afternoon at Blackburn-Shaw Memorial Chapel. Pastor Neal D. Cannon officiated with pallbearers L. K. Bray Jake Coyle Ernest Batson Oliver Bivins Dick Bivins and Lowellunday. Capell, 37, died Sunday night in a Stratford area auto collision. He is survived by his wife one daughter and his mother Mrs R R Capell. Burial followed at Llano Cemetery. The brief item notes J D Ashby of Siloam Springs Arkansas visiting his mother.

Trudy Gowdy and Art Vaughn head the cast in Kiss and Tell a three act comedy by the College Players to be staged at 8 30 o clock on May 13 14 in Amarillo College Gowdy a 1945 Amarillo High School graduate and freshman liberal arts student plays Corliss Archer Vaughn also a 1945 graduate and freshman liberal arts student is leading man and a Badger Club and Lawyers fraternity member both plan further studies at the University of New Mexico Albuquerque.

Oklahoma City May 7 A telephone lineman on a pole told Mrs Elizabeth Hill in the county registrar of deeds office he overheard a caller asking the owner of a house at a city address. He said he could not leave a number because he would call back. He said he just happened to spot a vacant house and hoped to rent it.
