Skull Reconstructed by Smithsonian From 10,000-Year-Old Tepexpan Find
Smithsonian scientists reconstructed a 10,000-year-old Tepexpan man skull found near Mexico City. Plastics aided the head shape and facial features, with some conjecture about hair and appearance. The skull’s look resembles a typical southwestern Indian, making it hard to distinguish among modern Indian skulls. The find may represent early inhabitants of the Americas.
