Handicapped Woman Tells of Happiness and Hope

Dorothea Dix column quotes a cheerful 42 year old woman paralyzed on the left side for 30 years who revels in a happy marriage and doing tasks with one hand. The missive praises a positive mindset and a supportive husband, contrasting with sniveling complaints about handicaps. The advice column also includes a plea about in law trouble from a sister in law who spoils family attention.
