Jail Pair On Charge Of Incident In Amarillo
Two men from Amarillo are charged with offenses following a night incident on a country road west of the city. J B Baugus 23 and Willard Smith 30 were arrested after holding a husband and confronting a wife and her companion. The pair were held at public safety point and charged with assault with intent to commit an incident. Victims described an attractive Oklahoma City woman age 24 whose husband was forced from the car. Police said the men were hired at J B Coe Lumber Co. prior to the arrest. The case was filed in 47th District Court and awaiting arraignment.
