Complaint Filed Charging Murder in Ride Slaying

A complaint was filed in Justice of the Peace Gus Brown's court at midmorning today charging Dave Franklin Jarvis, 24, of Dallas, with murder in the ride slaying of Ivan J. Poole, 43, an ex convict, near Arlington early Thursday. He is not under arrest.
