Better Home Contest Again on in Plainview
Plainview pursues the Beautiful Homes contest for 1921 to improve cleanliness and curb appeal. The program, run by the Board of City Development, invites both renters and owners to sprout yards, prune trees, and plant flowers. Plainview’s entries have repeatedly won top honors at flower shows, earning the town the title garden spot of the Plains.
