Las Vegas Gambler Benny Binion Ties to Odessa Casino
Gambler Paul Harvey testified before a Texas crime investigation committee that Benny Binion of Las Vegas was a partner in his Odessa casino until the start of the year. Harvey said he kept all profits to fund his Odessa house, borrowing $60,000 from Binion to finish a $123,000 dwelling. He admitted Binion would have a one third share, but he kept profits for operating expenses and stated he would pay Binion later if possible.
