Amarillo Rail News Chronicles Assignments and Health
A long list from Amarillo rail offices notes personnel moves including Louie Throckmorton in St. Anthony's Hospital recovering from an injury and Louie M Franks sick. Several engineers and firemen receive reassigned runs and rest breaks while others shift crews and handle personal business. A 25 year pin is awarded, and a special train of 875 Mexican laborers passes through en route to Omaha for section gangs. The note ends with back pay and ongoing crew adjustments.
