Janitor Still Sought in Trunk Murder Case
Denver police redouble efforts to find Fred Janssen a Denver janitor suspected in the murder of an unidentified woman whose body was found in a trunk in Ogden Utah. Janssen's wife vanished the day before the body discovery and held two life insurance policies naming him beneficiary. The trunk traveled from Denver to Weed California and blood on the hinges aided the investigation. Janssen has been married twice his first wife offered to help.

Physicians Hold Panhandle Clinic Session in City
Panhandle Medical association began a three day session at 9 AM with visiting physicians arriving from across the region. Pensacola Florida March 17 Two naval lieutenants were killed when their aircraft collided 1500 feet above Cory flying field. Victims were Lieut Charles D Porter and Olin Rainer. Fellow aviators Lieut Harry M Henry M Mullinix and T O Fisher were injured. One wrecked plane struck the roof of a local paper plant. Louisville, March 17 William Gates exonerated Saturday of killing Richard Heaton in Louisville's mutilation murder case was bound over for a preliminary hearing March 20 on a charge of assault. The charge stems from a telegraphic warrant from Lake City D C alleging Gates accompanied Heaton to South Carolina where they attacked and beat Lake City police chief William R Wall last November. Extradition papers from South Carolina are expected today. Meanwhile reports Gates and Heaton attacked and beat Houston Texas police official William W Anderson are being investigated by Texas authorities. Gates, who is on bail, will probably fight extradition.

Porter shoots Mexican in attempted robbery in station
