Hoobler Convicted in Slaying of OK Farmer
Wichita Falls reports that D. J. Hoobler faces a chair verdict for the death of Arthur Pendergraft a wealthy Oklahoma farmer and employer. Pendergraft vanished in January and was found buried after Hoobler led authorities to an abandoned ranch. Hoobler claimed self defense and challenged confessions as coerced.
