Thousand Attend Press Convention in Amarillo 1924
A thousand newspaper men and their wives are expected in Amarillo for the State Press Association meeting on June 11 and 12. Special trains from Fort Worth & Denver and Santa Fe will bring attendees, with a Palo Duro Canyon barbecue and a special meeting at Ce nio College. The editorial convention will be in Amarillo auditorium, possibly the biggest in 1924.
