Mystery $7,000,000 Gold and Silver Shipment Reaches Manila

A cargo of gold and silver coins valued at about $7 million arrived in Manila aboard the French steamer Laos from Haifeng French Indo China. The 489 ton shipment in 4,800 cases was consigned to an undisclosed American port and prepared for departure on an American President liner.
