Denver March 5 A bill from the Colorado house judiciary committee finds a city dog is more polite than a country dog. A town of 5,000 or more must face first offense liability while smaller towns permit one bite before action.
Vancouver March 5 The 10 foot sea serpent like body with a horse head and bulbous nostrils was found on the beach near Vancouver B C and cannot be classified by Dr W A Clemens University of British Columbia. He notes a cartilaginous skull bristly hair and shark like cartilage yet hairiness and bone absence complicate identification. He plans a closer examination saying he does not believe in sea serpents.

March 5 report from Bucharest that ex king Carol of Romania and Magda Lupescu fled from Seville Spain into Portugal using a Polish passport. They were said to have traveled via Yugoslavia and Italy to Switzerland before Spain and to have posed as a couple in a car with a Polish diplomatic plate. The Romanian government had sought Lupescu’s extradition on embezzlement charges.
