Crazy C-47 dive tests show ducted wind and loose bolts
In the China theater a C-47 flown by 21-year-old Flight Officer Eugene F Hasley of Fort Myers endures a one mile upside down dive after an updraft. Instruments fail and wing bolts loosen but the craft returns to base. Hasley reports the plane will fly after factory servicing. Supt. Rogers travels for Texas education meetings. Arthur Murphy of Chicago visits the Dinans in Dinan Home.
