Auto wreck near city leaves four dead and one injured
An east of Tulsa automobile collision killed four people and injured one as a sedan struck a telephone pole and rolled, ejecting all but one occupant. Victims are Henry J. Brousseau, 40. Miss Marjorie Denton, 29. Carl Pratt, 28. Mrs. Carl Pratt, 26. Injured, Miss Helen Boyd, 27, is not expected to survive. E. C. Hinkefent, 33, escaped injury and could not explain his surprise. The Pratt car, owned by Carl Pratt, left the highway and crashed 200 feet from the pole. Pratt and Hinkefent are Braden Steel Corp. employees. the Pratts had just returned from Denver.

Santa Fe rail line to start work Amarillo to Boise City
Monday is set as the start date for construction on the Santa Fe line from Amarillo to Boise City Oklahoma officials said. W H Rochester and Shary Fellows of Los Angeles expect about 700 workers and crews will begin at Amarillo Boise City and in between. Bridges contractors inspected the Canadian River site for the high steel bridge and may bid.
