Amarillo Hosts Big League Auto Races at Tri-State Track
Amarillo will stage a major auto race day next Saturday under the American Automobile Association. Twenty-one top dirt-track drivers from across the United States compete for 1500 dollars in cash prizes as the new Tri-State race track opens with a 2 pm start. Six events plus time trials, banked curves, and low admission prices mark the gala event.
