Reluctant stirring love in a Berlin-tinged cafe romance
Deborah suspects Stephan, a bright, carefree German student, hides a harder, older side as their term unfolds. His charm and curiosity clash with a deeper tension, while Angie hints at political unrest and a riot linked to Bund activity. The tension thickens as Deborah fears what the spring may bring.

Veteran Eclipse Observer Never Has Time To Look
Dr John Anthony Miller, 80, former Sproul Observatory director at Swarthmore College, has attended more eclipses than anyone alive, yet time to view them was scarce during eight expeditions. He photographed each event and recalls about ten seconds to look at the eclipse. His trips included Georgia, Spain, Colorado, New Haven, Sumatra and Vermont. Recent reports note over 300 U.S. cities linked by regular air service.
