Washington June 5 the maritime commission invoked the 1916 shipping act granting itself near total authority over the American merchant marine and shipbuilding industry in a dramatic policy move announced today by officials.
Forisha, a special representative of Frye's School of Aviation in Dallas, visits Amarillo to interview young men for aircraft mechanic training. Neale Hollar remains in poor condition after a motorcycle accident early last night. He crossed the Fort Worth and Denver rail road track on North McMasters Street when the motorcycle fell, and he was transported to Northwest Texas Hospital by a Griggs Ambulance.
