The Millinery Creators Guild reveals a tricorne trend in the autumn collection with hats in velvet felt velours and plush, in various sizes and forms. Designers emphasize dramatic silhouettes and accessories such as feathers sequins and mask veils making the three cornered hat a focal point of this season. A dressing tip accompanies the piece: a mayonnaise mustard blend elevates tuna salad.

VFW Girls Unit Holds Session
Members of the Junior Girls Unit of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary met in social session at VFW Hall. They made lapel pins and were served refreshments by the Cactus Cootlette club. Assistants included Mesdames Evelyn Kruse Tennie Baker Hedwig Eaton Julia Lusk and sponsor Fern Morris. Ten members attended. The next meeting is set for August 9 at 3 30 PM in VFW Hall.
