Death this morning claimed A A Kaufhold known as Dutch traffic clerk for Phillips Petroleum and Amarillo booster. He died at 8:45 in St Anthony's Hospital after a two week illness, four days in hospital. A Amarillo resident 23 years, he came from Shamrock and served 22 years with Phillips. He was active in goodwill trips, baseball, American Legion youth teams, and once managed a semi professional club in Wichita Falls. He was a former drilling contractor from 1926 to 1929.
