Amarilla Aeroneers Club held a free flight competition with Jack Kelly winning Class C in a bugger bombshell. Bill Toombs took second in a sail plane. Three planes were lost including two Class B zippers flown by Bob Townes and Rob Redfearn and Bruce Norman's Class C plane, timer issue. AAC director Oliver Crawford urged owners to reclaim missing aircraft at Witt Motors for forwarding. No U control results reported.
