Amarillo Chamber backs highway plan from Anton to Randall County line
The Amarillo Chamber of Commerce Highway Committee endorsed paving a route from Anton Lamb County to Buffalo Lake and recommended it to the board. The plan runs north from Anton to the Randall County line via Spade Olton and Hart. Virgil Patterson said the committee favors the Randall County route as most practical and supported by residents there. He noted Lamb and Castro counties also approved, though Randall County opinion showed some doubt.
