Dog Attack on Little La Juana Ridley on Tricycle

A dog mauled 3 year old La Juana Ridley causing severe facial injuries and seven stitches. The dog was captured by owners and observed by medical officials at the city pound as Mrs. Ridley cared for her daughter at a relative’s home during the incident. The attack occurred while La Juana played near Mrs. Hattie Sands in East Tenth Street. Neighbors reported the dog dragged the child from her tricycle until others intervened.
