Pacific oil trade targeted from Salina Cruz terminal

In Salina Cruz Mexico the government petroleum administration has built a 335000 barrel loading terminal to compete for Pacific oil trade. Vicente Ynguanzo says the new pumping system can load tankers at 50000 barrels an hour if needed, though such speed would rarely be used. The plan aims to make Salina Cruz a regular refueling and loading point for ships serving South and Central America and other Pacific markets.
