An Amarillo man, allegedly confessing to stealing silk dresses and other wearables, is expected to face charges of concealing stolen goods this afternoon. Hollis Sheriff E T Smith and Wellington Sheriff C E McKinney are in town, linking the property to a Hollis burglary. McKinney had previously arrested Manuel Lewis, J L Cunningham, and Lloyd Allen for the Hollis robbery and a related hold up. the Amarillo man is thought to be a fence for the gang.

Rochester youths killed by train near Amarillo
Walter Peach 18 of Rochester New York was killed when southbound Fort Worth and Denver train No 2 struck him as he slept on the track near Boden 23 miles northwest of Amarillo.
