Miss Pauline Lakey suggests drying peaches at home when sugar stocks are low. Peaches may be dried peeled or unpeeled, treated with sulfur to preserve color, and dried by sun or electric heat. After drying until pliable and leathery, heat to 150 degrees for 15 to 30 minutes, then seal in hot jars.
