A hard wind and rainstorm hit north of Celina Collin county late last night tearing down out buildings and washing away bridges over swollen creeks. One man was reported injured near Emerson ranch with numerous telegraph and telephone poles blown down disrupting communications.

Sheridan Carlisle, president of the National Progressive league, telegraphed Sen. Robert M. LaFollette urging Gov. Charles W. Bryan as running mate. He claimed the pair would carry every state west of Pennsylvania and north of the Mason Dixon line, with several southern states.
